Lalalalalalala Life is Wonderful

Showchoir competition went well. Hopefully we won. We didn't have musical rehearsals so I headed out to the park and hung out with my dog, my psychology book, and a few other random people/objects. It felt so good to get out in the sun! I ate at In The Raw with Dan and Tyler, my two favorite guys in the world, and we got to talking about the future and and what we want to do/where we want to be....

Tulsa. A great place to live...historical, spacious, clean, suburban. Can you imagine growing up anywhere else? I sure can't. So many good memories here...don't you feel like you know the city (at least the south side) like the back of your hand? As much as I wish there was more to do here, at the same time there's SO much to do, such great local music, nice restaurants, safe parks, at least one coffee shop a square mile. When the time comes, its going to be hard to leave. Not gonna lie, I'll miss it alot.

Then it comes to college...I could be anywhere. Ideally SMU, but who knows what could happen between now and next year. I could get a 35 on my ACT and go to whatever Ivy League I wanted. I could go bankrupt and not afford college. I could fall in love and go to the same college as my significant other. I could get a crazy breakthrough actress gig and not go to college. No one know for sure what's going to happen. Then there's the what to major in debate...I want to major in philosophy, but my parent's aren't going to want to pay ridiculous amounts to get a major in something I can't use. Radio Broadcasting? Entrepreneuring? Latin? Law? Biochemistry? Trophy wife-ism?

I guess all you can do about these things is pray about them. After all, He is in control of it all. Not me.

3 exciting things happened today...

1. On facebook highschool and college people can be friends! Oh my that makes me so excited!

2. Over dinner, my dad informs me that his aunt and cousin are visitng next week. The guy's name in Randy, he's been in and out of jail and addicted to a variety of things, but got saved recently and appears to be doing better. My dad gets a call from Randy that goes somethign along the lines of "I'm really excited, I want to spend as much time with you as possible!"  So my Dad told him we were having 2 foreign exchange students staying with us for a month so there's no more room for him. Hahahahahaha thats the funniest things I've ever heard in my life!

3. I pull into the driveway after rehearsals to find a brand new H3 Hummer in the driveway. New car. I got a spare key. Heck yes. Life's good.

Reasons why this was an AMAZING weekend

-Starlight Mints Concert. I'm not really into them, but I had fun and saw some old friends and hung out with Anna and Kevin which was fun.

-I got a Venti Cinnamon Dolce Latte at Starbuck....for free just for being at the right place at the right time! I was extremely excited by this.

-Trojanaires performed at Miss America's Homecoming and it was so much fun!! I stood like 8 feet away from Monica Pang, who's half asian like me and was 1st runner up in the miss america pageant....girl crush yes!!! And it was awesome seeinig Jennifer she's so beautiful!!!

-Battle of the Bands which I look forward to all year long!!! Its BS that Zsolzai or Stoneface Norman didn't win though. I was ticked about that, one of them should have. However, Stoneface did win People's Choice/2nd place and Downcast got 3rd place, so thats awesome!!!!!

-Got a Xanadu Cd which I've been waiting to come out for like a year!

-Hung out with some old friends and go to dance! Crazy fun, I joined this like circle of BTW kids like clogging/riverdancing, it was really goofy but quite a blast. I recommend hippie dancing to anyone, it lets out alot of anxiety.

-Monday=Crucible performances. Wednesday=Trojanaire competiton. Thursday=final dress rehearsal.  Friday-Sunday=the Boyfriends shows! Its a good thing I like being on stage!

-The weekend after next= Relay for Life, Lia's visiting, Xanadu's CD release party, CAPS conferences which means no school Monday or Tuesday!!

Life's good now.
